A bride and groom dictate all of the details for their special day, but the photographer gets to capture it through their professional creative eye.
It is a very special privilege to be the one who documents those details. As I drove up to the Texas Old Town venue, ready to photograph Logan and Ashley, I admired the amount of land the venue had to offer. There was diversity throughout the remarkable 55 acres, which allowed us to photograph with the sun high in the sky. The ceremony faced North allowing the sun to peek through the trees, creating a magical and peaceful setting for their marriage. Anyone who knows Logan and Ashley, know that they both have an incredible sense of humor and like to make everyone smile. Their wedding was full of laughter and joy. It was beautiful to see the two come together in a humble and solemn way before God. It was obvious, the two of them knew and understood the commitment they were making with each other, and both were prepared to honor and cherish one another. Each part of their day was intentional and thoughtful. They were surrounded by so many who wanted to show their endless love and support for them. They are blessed with a community that rallies around them in all things. Logan and Ashley know that they can rely on their loved ones for spiritual strength as they journey through life together. To photograph them and document the day they said "I do" was a dream.
